Hamilton County home values have gone up an average of around 60% in the past four years, according to the county’s assessor.

Commercial property values have also risen around 50% since the last reappraisal was completed in 2021, Assessor of Property Marty Haynes said.

The jump in value, an average of 55% across the board, is the largest the county has seen since local reappraisals began in Hamilton County in 1989, Haynes said.
