Families can plan for the next two school years after the Hamilton County Board of Education amended the 2025-26 academic calendar and set it for the following year.
The school board initially approved the calendar for the 2025-26 school year in April 2024, but it was amended Thursday to reflect the district’s change to having students take one benchmark test a year instead of the previous three. It also moves a professional development day and a half-day from a Wednesday to a Monday in response to feedback from students and families.
Board members voted unanimously to make the changes.
