In addition to hoisting three straight state championship trophies and emerging as one of the country’s top college recruits in the class of 2026, Kimora Fields has also been an extraordinary leader for the nationally renowned Bradley Central Bearettes basketball program.
Fields is one of 20 student-athletes on the first-ever TSSAA Student Advisory Committee. Formed in April, the committee’s objectives include an ambassador role for the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association and working to ensure student perspectives as a whole are “heard in governance” while “addressing key issues such as rules, regulations, and special initiatives” according to a TSSAA release.
“Being able to coach Kimora and watch her grow as a person and player has been a real joy,” said Bradley Central’s Jason Reuter, who was named national coach of the year by MaxPreps last spring and whose 16th season as head coach of the Bearettes tipped off this past week.
“I am proud of her just as much off the court as I am on. She has a chance to be the most decorated player in Bearette history on top of having a 4.0 GPA along with being on several leadership committees. For the TSSAA to choose her to be on the first student advisory committee is a real honor. She is the only one on it from around this area.”
With the 2025-26 season underway around Tennessee, Fields gave a sneak preview of what is to come as the reigning Class 4A Miss Basketball scored 40 points when the Bearettes opened with a 73-49 home win over GPS on Tuesday. She has now scored more 2,100 points in her career while helping Bradley Central to a record of 107-3 during that time, including a 2-0 start this season after the Bearettes won 75-65 at Middle Tennessee Christian on Saturday.
