Rob Preston, the 56-year-old CEO and president of the Athens (Tennessee) Area Chamber of Commerce, has run 129 marathons.
That totals 3,382 miles, or just a little less than the distance between New York City and London.
“Running has become a big part of my life,” the Chattanooga native said in a recent telephone interview.
Not only has Preston completed 129 marathons, but he has finished at least one 26-mile run on all seven continents.
