What’s going there? Two large subdivisions in Hixson, East Brainerd

A Nashville-based developer is entering Chattanooga’s market with two large subdivisions adding more than 140 new homes in East Brainerd and Hixson.

Banner Built Homes, a subsidiary of Legacy South Builders, is hoping to bring more attainable homes aimed at first-time buyers, Legacy South chief executive Bailey Neal said.

Chattanooga already has a lot of quality local builders doing highly designed homes, Neal said, so the company wanted to carve its own niche.
