Whiteboard, a Chattanooga agency that helps organizations design their online presence and branding, has been acquired by RKD Group, a leading national firm helping nonprofits grow through fundraising and marketing.
The pair described the sale as a chance to join forces in support of organizations driven by missions of service.
Texas-based RKD Group serves more than 250 nonprofits, helping them generate more than $4.3 billion in revenue last year, and Whiteboard will add creative and branding capabilities. RKD’s client list includes Susan G. Komen and The Salvation Army.
Whiteboard caught the group’s attention with its warp-speed project to revamp the online presence of the Chattanooga Area Food Bank last year. While its process would traditionally take between four to six months, Whiteboard compressed its work for the food bank to one week, said Eric Brown, the agency’s cofounder.
