School may be out for the summer, but local administrators haven’t stopped serving their communities.
Dr. Marques Stewart, community superintendent for Hamilton County Schools’ Missionary Ridge area, led a retreat this week at East Lake Community Center.
At the retreat, principals and assistant principals from the Missionary Ridge learning community gathered to pack pencils and snack bags to be donated to the Chattanooga Free Store.
The administrators also packaged laundry soap sheets for the Free Store, which distributes the sheets and other essential items at its location in the Avondale area.
