Tennessee continues to assemble a football recruiting class heavy on Volunteer State and Peach State prospects.
Dylan Haley, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound projected cornerback from Cherokee Bluff High School in the Atlanta suburb of Flowery Branch, has become the 12th commitment for the Volunteers for the 2027 signing cycle. Of those 12 who have given their nonbinding pledges, six are from Tennessee and four are from Georgia.
Haley, who is the No. 53 athlete prospect and the No. 690 overall recruit on the 247Sports.com composite rankings, visited Tennessee in both March and April before visiting again this past weekend.
“It’s great, and I couldn’t ask for anything else, really,” Haley told 247Sports.com. “With Coach (Josh) Heupel and then Coach (Jim) Knowles on defense, we’re going to be good. With Coach Knowles, I feel like I could thrive in that defense.”

Haley is Tennessee’s fourth commitment from a defensive back, joining safety Jaden Butler of Haywood High in Brownsville, cornerback Brandon Leavell of Goodpasture Christian in Madison, and cornerback Carter Jamison of Creekside High in the Atlanta suburb of Fairburn. He is expected to be a January enrollee.
On the baseball front, Vols freshman outfielder Nate Eisfelder has decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Eisfelder hit just .192 with two home runs and nine RBIs in 18 contests, which included four starts.
