You’ve heard me talk about the clouds in my coffee thing before.

That expression, to me, refers to staring into your coffee that needs to be stirred to get the cream you just added to mix well. You could question me staring into my coffee — rightfully so maybe — but to me it is about the same as staring into the campfire.

You can do some deep thinking about the subject that’s troubling what is left of your brain cells at the time. You can also do some real soul searching, and you may (or you may not) get some answers by staring into a good campfire. So I’m saying looking into the mottled coffee is about the same.

If you take your coffee black, I’m not sure what you do; I guess you go start a fire.

So what has me in this current mood and looking into muddy coffee involves turkeys. Yeah, I know, some of you are saying “Oh, what a surprise!”
