Men’s college basketball teams are close to setting their rosters for the 2026-27 season.
Nearly a dozen potential first-round picks withdrew from the NBA draft pool and opted to return to school, including several high-profile prospects just before the deadline Thursday.
Former Baylor big man Tounde Yessoufou removed himself from consideration and committed to St. John’s. Amari Allen (Alabama), Jeremy Fears Jr. (Michigan State), Billy Richmond (Arkansas), Andrej Stojakovic (Illinois) and Tyler Tanner (Vanderbilt) also decided to spend another year in college.
Former Iowa State forward Milan Momcilovic, meanwhile, pulled out of the draft pool and immediately became the top transfer available. Arizona, Kentucky, Louisville and St. John’s are reportedly in pursuit.
Christian Anderson (Texas Tech), Allen Graves (Santa Clara), Koa Peat (Arizona) and Meleek Thomas (Arkansas) stayed in the pool for the draft, which takes place June 23-24 in New York.
