The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2-2, 1-0 Southern Conference) plays The Citadel at 2 p.m. Saturday at Johnson Hagood Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina.

Here are five things to know about the Bulldogs.

1. They’re better against FBS than FCS

The Citadel (1-2, 0-1) is coming off an open date, and its season so far has been hard to read. The Bulldogs’ only win came against the highest-level team on their schedule, a 43-41 triple-overtime victory at FBS member Charlotte on Sept. 5. They won it on a two-point conversion pass from Nick Billoups to Whit Hobgood.

Against FCS opponents, The Citadel is 0-2 despite outgaining both. The Bulldogs had 351 yards to Wofford’s 341 in a 42-14 loss in the opener, and they outgained Charleston Southern 308-188 before losing 26-20 in double overtime on Sept. 12. Turnovers, special teams breakdowns and a missed field goal in overtime decided those games.
