Hamilton Place mall will undergo its second major interior renovation since the shopping center opened in 1987, officials said today.

Michael Lebovitz, executive vice president of development and administration for mall owner CBL & Associates Properties Inc., said work is scheduled to begin in March.

Changes included a redesign of mall entrances, a new logo and updated wood, carpet and tile floors along with a remodeled food court with all new seating areas.

Construction will occur mostly during off hours and a grand opening will take place in October.

When will the mall ever bring in stores like Macy's and Nordstroms? Do we always have to go to ATL to shop at those great stores? What is wrong with this management team? It is a great mall but please Belk and Dillards are getting a little old and Forever 21 is not what the teens like they love the stores already there Hollister, American Eagle--why not a Macys or The Cheesecake Factory?
