A 28-year-old man was arrested after he showed up at Parkridge hospital in Chattanooga with a gunshot wound to the groin, according to a news release from Chattanooga police.

Kevin Daniel was transferred to Erlanger hospital for treatment and later released, police said. Daniel had three outstanding warrants for his arrest, according to the news release.

Police responded to a call at J.J’s Lounge, 2208 Glass St., just after midnight today where they found .45 and 9 mm shell casings and blood in the parking lot. Witnesses told police that two men, one identified as Daniel, got into an argument that led to a shoot-out.

Daniel has pending charges of occupied aggravated burglary and theft of property dating back to March 11, records show. His next court date is May 24, according to court records.

Police have not identified the other gunman. An investigation is continuing.
