Tennessee landed a five-star football commitment Sunday afternoon who has the name and apparently the game.

Chandavian Bradley, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound edge rusher from Platte County High School in Platte City, Missouri, provided the Volunteers a nonbinding pledge with a Twitter post of “150% Locked In!! GO VOLS.” Bradley had revealed June 27 on the social media platform that his three finalists were South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

The 17th commitment in the 2023 signing cycle for the Vols is the nation’s No. 5 edge rusher and No. 36 overall recruit in the 247Sports.com composite rankings. Bradley is Tennessee’s second five-star commitment, joining quarterback Nico Iamaleava – another stout name – of Long Beach, California.

Iamaleava and Bradley would be the first five-star signees for the Vols since offensive linemen Darnell Wright and Wanya Morris in 2019.

“They definitely want me to play more at the weakside,” Bradley told 247Sports. “They’ll put me in there and have me dropping back in coverage and rushing off the edge – pretty much the same stuff I do in high school right now.
