Interstate 75 North in Whitfield County is experiencing heavy traffic and long delays south of an accident that caused all lanes to be closed. Traffic closest to the camera is headed south. All lanes on Interstate 75 North in Whitfield County near Dalton were blocked due to a major accident involving a jack knifed tractor trailer and three other vehicles, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred this evening near Exit 336/SR 3/US 41/US 76.
The accident was estimated to be cleared at 7 p.m. Northbound and southbound lanes are open at this time.
