Construction on one of the largest new office buildings to go up in downtown Chattanooga in years is to start this summer on a tract that’s part of the former Newton Chevrolet dealership.
The three-story, 33,000-square-foot building is planned for the corner of Riverfront Parkway and M.L. King Boulevard, said Bob Elliott, president of Noon Development.
He said the multimillion- dollar project will be a professional office building and go on a 1.1-acre tract across Riverfront Parkway from the new Chattanooga Whiskey Co. distillery.
“We’re talking to a couple of physician groups and other sectors,” Elliott said. “It’s not exclusive to medical.”
