Alonzo Dewayne Pryor (Photo from Hamilton County Jail)A 30-year-old man has been charged with the rape of an 11-year-old girl, more than a month after the incident.
On Dec. 14, the child called a family friend and asked to be taken to the hospital, according to court records.
There, the child described in detail to hospital staff and police investigators what happened, a criminal affidavit reflects.
She told police she was at home lying on the couch when Alonzo Dewayne Pryor sat next to her, began to fondle her and attempted to have sex with her.
A sexual assault kit was performed, revealing the girl had contracted a sexually-transmitted infection, the affidavit reads.
Pryor was arrested on Jan. 30 and charged with rape of a child and taken to the Hamilton County Jail. His bond was set at $500,000.
Pryor has an arrest history in Hamilton County dating back to 2007, including two domestic assault charges, according to online court records.
