LISA DENTON: Barry, I hope you can lay hands on your grass skirt and clam-shell bra because there’s a cruise coming up Friday on the Southern Belle that sounds like fun. And it’s certainly for a good cause.

The Red Shoe Society, which raises money and awareness for the Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga, is sponsoring an Aloha summer cruise, complete with palm trees and tiki torches and leis. As I understand it, you need to come dressed for the part. You can’t get lei’d there.

BARRY COURTER: Nothing new for me. That sounds like a lot of fun, and you are right, it’s for a good cause.

Also, Puddles Pity Party is Thursday. I love a good pity party. I throw them for myself all the time.

LISA: And Opera Tennessee is going to present “Cavalleria Rusticana” Thursday and Friday at Northside Presbyterian Church. It sounds like something you’d order at Olive Garden, but actually it’s an opera set in a 19th-century Sicilian village that packs seduction and jealousy and murder into one act.
