All federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program funds allocated to the North Georgia Community Action Agency based in Jasper have been used, and the program will close Thursday, according to a news release.
The program serves counties all across North Georgia. The funds were exhausted during the homebound/elderly application intake period in November.
If more money becomes available, the program will reopen to the public, according to the release.
