AT&T service out two days
AT&T wireless customers couldn’t make or receive calls for several hours Thursday and Friday morning in Chattanooga and throughout East Tennessee.
Service was restored about 2 p.m. Thursday and just after noon Friday.
AT&T’s Cathy Lewandowski said the outages were related and stemmed from the same problem, though she declined to identify what the problem was.
“AT&T wireless service is now fully restored for customers in the Knoxville, Chattanooga, Tri-Cities and East Tennessee markets,” Lewandowski said Friday. “We apologize for any inconvenience as a result of the service interruption earlier today.”
