A third person has been indicted in a 2015 slaying in DeKalb County, Ala., authorities said Friday.

Jason Lee Loudermilk, 31, of Sylvania, was indicted Thursday on a charge of murder in the death of Kenneth DeWayne Shaw, according to Sheriff Jimmy Harris.

Shaw was shot to death in November 2015. Officers arrested Casey Adam Jones, 39, of Rosalie, shortly after the murder, but said at the time two other persons of interest were being pursued.

Dakota Lane Gore, 20, was arrested in January after a grand jury indicted him, according to Times Free Press archives. There was a car chase and foot pursuit when officers tried to take him into custody, and Gore also was charged with resisting arrest and attempt to elude.

Harris said Loudermilk was in Jackson County Jail on unrelated charges when the DeKalb County indictment was returned, and he has been transferred to the DeKalb County Detention Center.
