A 3-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after burning herself Wednesday in Trion, Ga., authorities said.
The girl pulled a pan of boiling water off the stove and suffered second-degree burns, said Herbert Dodd, district commander of Redmond Emergency Medical Services.
She was airlifted to T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, Dodd said.
