Sad to see no flags at National Cemetery
I just finished reading the TFP article stating that there won’t be flags on the graves of our fallen soldiers this year. I am appalled.
These men and women went to war to fight and die for us to have the freedoms we enjoy today. Now we are opening up after fighting a “war” on our soil, and we don’t have people with the backbone to honor these veterans.
We can all put on masks, gloves, whatever it takes and put flags on these graves. Where do we pick them up to do this? If they haven’t been bought, then where do we get them from? Surely there are local businesses who have flags and enough Chattanoogans who are willing to go out and get flags and place them on the graves before Monday. Just tell us how.
