SUNS 3, LOOKOUTS 2
Tuesday’s recap: The Suns made it a true walk-off victory with four bases on balls from Zack Jones in the bottom of the ninth, the last two with two outs. Peter Mooney walked to lead off the at-bat and Cam Maron sacrificed him to second, so Jones intentionally walked Kenny Wilson and got a strikeout before walking James Roberts and Brian Anderson to end the game. Alex Glenn’s two-run homer gave Jacksonville a 2-0 lead in the third, but Chattanooga got even in the sixth, which began with Levi Michael doubling and scoring on an error on Zach Granite’s ball. Granite stole his 48th base of the season, went to third on Engelb Vielma’s infield single and scored on Ryan Walker’s forceout.
Next up: Game three of a five-game series in Jacksonville is tonight at 7:05.
Pitchers: Kohl Stewart (7-6, 3.04 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Patrick Johnson (6-7, 3.54) scheduled for the Suns.
