Splitz Bar and Grill inside Pin Strikes Entertainment Center hosts group events for local businesses, creating a fun filled day focused on team building out of the office.
“Depending on what they want to do, we build the package to fit their needs,” says Michael Dean, general manager of the entertainment center. “Those who want pizza can have that, but over the holidays we did a lot of buffet-style meals for groups.”
Everything from laser tag to bowling can become a creative way to build camaraderie within a company. Dean encourages businesses to consider starting a bowling league. Each league involves at least six teams of four and can enjoy a 12-week season.
Pin Strikes also hosts lock-ins for church groups and other organizations with an evening starting as early as 11 p.m. and lasting until 7 a.m. To organize a night at Pin Strikes groups must bring a minimum of 60 guests for the evening that includes pizza for dinner as well as a special breakfast in the morning and access to bowling, laser tag, bumper cars and Balladium.
“It’s a clean family environment and people can come here and have a good time,” says Dean, who offers a varied menu for bowlers of all ages. “It’s all cooked fresh. We don’t have anything come in precooked. There’s a wide variety for everything from kids to grownups.”
