George FlinnDr. George Flinn, a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, will speak today at the Tennessee Alliance of Liberty and Tea Party Groups Summit in Ooltewah.
Flinn, a Memphis native who is a medical radiologist and owns several radiology clinics in West Tennessee and North Mississippi, is contesting for the Republican nomination with incumbent Sen. Lamar Alexander and state Rep. Joe Carr.
The winner of the Aug. 7 primary will face the winner of the Democratic primary, Gordon Ball or Terry Adams.
Flinn will speak at 3:30 p.m. at the Garden Plaza of Greenbriar Cove, 4586 Forsythia Way.
