The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team picked up its third commitment since the weekend Tuesday when Giovanni Dyer gave a non-binding pledge to the program.
“I am 200 percent committed to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga,” Dyer tweeted, with the Mocs’ recruiting hashtag #FLYH19ER.
Dyer, who will be a senior at Johns Creek, played his junior year at Columbia in Decatur, Ga. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound speedster finished with 708 yards and five touchdowns receiving on 29 catches, earning all-Region 5-AAAAA honors.
He chose the Mocs over an offer from Kansas State.
Dyer is the third offensive player to commit to the program and second receiver. Newton (Ga.) receiver Michael Mathison committed to the program over the weekend and was joined by Grissom (Ala.) running back Mel Dantzler, Jr.
