Some 2,000 women from across the Southeast will gather at the Chattanooga Convention Center starting Thursday to kick off True Woman ’10, the first stop on a national conference tour.
Open to women of all ages, the three-day conference is part of a movement that helps women discover and embrace God’s purpose and mission for their lives, according to organizers.
Topics will include building personal faith, motherhood and women’s global issues. A special breakout session is designed for teens.
Featured speakers include Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Mary Kassian, Kay Arthur, Pastor James McDonald, Joni Eareckson Tada, Dr. Voddie Baucham, Fern Nichols, Dannah Gresh and Jennifer Rothschild. Music will be provided by Irish duo Keith and Kristyn Getty.
Tickets for the three-day event are $159, $124 for students. Registration details are available at www.truewoman.com.
