The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team was red-hot from 3-point range Monday night against UNC Greensboro, which made life easy down low for Shanara Hollinquest and Michelle Davis.
The Lady Mocs matched their season high with 12 3s and, not facing the usual double- and triple-teams, Hollinquest scored 24 points in UTC’s 82-63 win. Davis, meanwhile, was effective inside and out, scoring a career-high 21 points.
The Lady Mocs (17-6, 12-2) remained in first place in the Southern Conference with the win, their 12th in a row.
