Tea Party plans Congress debate

The Chattanooga Tea Party is hosting a debate for 3rd District congressional candidates at 2 p.m. today at Woodland Park Baptist Church.

Mark West, president of the Chattanooga Tea Party, said Democratic challenger John Wolfe, along with independents Mark DeVol and Savas Kyriakidis, will be present at the debate. Republican challenger Chuck Fleischmann declined to attend, West said.

There will be a “Meet the Candidate” forum directly after the debate from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Woodland Park Baptist Church is at 6735 Standifer Gap Road.
