Brandon Lewis has stepped down as Hamilton County Republican Party finance chairman to accept a position on the Hamilton County Election Commission.
“When you want to make improvements in your community the ballot box is a great place to start,” Mr. Lewis said. “If I can help facilitate or improve that process by serving on the Election Commission it will be time well spent.”
Mr. Lewis said he will continue to volunteer in local Republican Party efforts. He is the owner of Painter Ready in Chattanooga.
“Brandon will be using his talents and enthusiasm in a different role,” said Matthew Bryant, chairman of the Hamilton County Republican Party. “We are working very hard in the Republican Party to encourage local conservatives to get involved in leadership positions and volunteer efforts.”
