Can you even imagine … ?

Most of us go about our days working, being at home, at school or in recreational activities without worrying much about our personal safety.

We take it for granted.

But what if you lived in Iraq? Horribly, no one can freely and safely go about daily activities in Baghdad and many other parts of Iraq without reasons to fear that some fanatic suicide bomber may explode himself or herself in a public place, randomly murdering numerous innocent people in the process.

Last weekend, for just a few of many examples, four suicide bombers struck near foreign diplomatic missions in Baghdad. Almost daily, there are other similar attacks on innocent people in public places. These explosions killed “at least” 40 people and wounded 224 others!

As we deplore such carnage in Iraq — just think how we would feel if we faced such dangers here.
