The latest to offer nonbinding pledges to Alabama are Jahleel Billingsley, a tight end out of Chicago, and John Metchie, a receiver from Hightstown, New Jersey. The Crimson Tide have the No. 1 crop of commitments, according to 247Sports.com, which lists them with one five-star prospect and 18 four-star recruits.
Billingsley and Metchie are four-star prospects, and they are among Alabama’s 18 commitments who are top-300 national players, according to 247Sports.
The 6-foot-4, 216-pound Billingsley is the No. 11 tight end nationally and the No. 294 prospect overall. The 6-foot, 195-pound Metchie is the nation’s No. 41 receiver and No. 276 overall recruit.
