About the event
The only nationwide celebration of trails, National Trails Day was launched by The American Hiking Society in 1993 to increase awareness about trails and those who maintain and create them, as well as to garner support from partners and volunteers for future trail-building projects.
National Trails Day – Celebration with Tennessee Trails Association
The Soddy-Daisy Chapter of the Tennessee Trails Association will host a hiking event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Greenway Farm, 5051 Gann Rd. in Chattanooga, that will also feature opportunities for flora and fauna observation, photography and identification.
