Two pit bull puppies that were stolen from a home in Bradley County in late August were returned after the arrests of two suspects.
Michael A. Powell Jr., 18, and Ryder Clint Rice, 29, were seen walking the puppies on Inman Street on Sept. 8, said Bob Gault, a spokesman for the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.
The two were brought in for questioning, then charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.
Gary Dewayne Shaw, 51, is also charged with burglary and theft in connection with the Aug. 30 incident, police said.
In addition to the puppies, which were stolen from a home on Poteet Road and valued at $600 each, a weedeater, gas tanks and a set of knives were also stolen.
All three suspects have since bonded out of jail, Gault said.
