Chattanooga police are looking for a man involved in a burglary and theft at the Residence Inn on Shallowford Road.
On May 16 a group was loading a car, getting ready to leave the hotel, and had left the hotel room door propped open. The suspect, described as a black man with a large build, entered the room and took wallets from their purses, said Officer Rebecca Royval, a Chattanooga Police Department spokeswoman.
The suspect then spent the next four days removing money from their accounts and using the cards at various stores in the Shallowford Road and Hamilton Place area, Officer Royval said.
Police obtained several photos of the suspect from the hotel and an ATM machine, she said.
The suspect possibly drives a green Ford Explorer or Expedition.
