“The Lion in Winter” will open Friday, Nov. 1, at Dalton Little Theatre for four performances at the theater, 210 N. Pentz St., Dalton, Georgia.

Show times are 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Nov. 1-2; and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 2-3.

Written by James Goldman, “The Lion in Winter” is a tale of sibling rivalry, adultery and dungeons. Comedic in tone, but dramatic in action, “The Lion in Winter” tells the story of the Plantagenet family, locked in a free-for-all of competing ambitions to inherit a kingdom.

The play is directed by Melissa Adams.

Tickets are $12 adults, $10 students.
