The Tennessee governor’s official residence is in Oak Hill, and Gov. Bill Haslam’s commute to the State Capitol in downtown Nashville can range from 6.6 miles to 7.5 miles, depending on which route he takes.

Google Maps shows he can get to his office on Interstate 65 (7.5 miles, 12 to 18 minutes), Franklin Pike up and through 8th (6.6 miles, 14 to 22 minutes) and Franklin Pike to 12th South (7 miles, 16 to 22 minutes) as options.

(By bus, he could walk 0.2 miles to his bus stop, take the No. 12 bus to Music City Central and walk 1.5 miles to his office).
