LOOKOUTS 4, BARONS 2
Thursday’s recap: Chattanooga made it three in a row against the Barons with Daniel Palka hitting two home runs for the second game in a row and David Hurlbut pitching into the seventh inning with only four hits allowed after three in the one-run first. Leonardo Reginatto, D.J. Hicks and Travis Harrison singled to begin the fourth inning, and Mitch Garver’s one-out forceout got the Lookouts even. Reginatto’s sacrifice fly in the fifth put them ahead, and Palka led off the sixth and eighth with homers. He has 11 for the Lookouts (25-28). Jake Reed pitched the ninth for his second save of the season.
Next up: Game four of a five-game series in Birmingham is tonight at 8:05 EDT.
Pitchers: Aaron Slegers (2-4, 4.08 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with David Holmberg (2-4, 4.21) scheduled for the Barons.
