The Rave East Ridge 18 will add an IMAX theater in time for the Nov. 19 release of “Harry Potter 7: the Deathly Hallows.”
The East Ridge theater complex is one of 13 Rave properties in America adding an IMAX, according to the company.
“It’s very clear that consumers associate the IMAX brand with the best way to go to the movies,” Tom Stephenson, president and CEO of Rave Cinemas, LLC, said in a news release.
Other IMAX films scheduled to show at the East Ridge IMAX in coming weeks include: “Tron: Legacy,” “The Green Hornet,” “Mars Needs Moms,” “Sucker Punch,” “Born to Be Wild,” “Pirates of the Carribbean,” “Fast and Furious 5” and “Cars 2.”
As of June there were 447 IMAX theaters worldwide operating in 47 countries.
