KIMBALL, Tenn. – Christmas should be a little merrier for full-time Kimball employees this year.
The city has traditionally given its full-time workers a $400 bonus just before the holidays, Mayor Rex Pesnell said, while part-time employees have typically gotten an extra $200.
At the Kimball Board of Mayor and Alderman’s November meeting, Alderman John Matthews made a motion to increase the bonus for the town’s 16 full-time employees to $500 this year.
Alderman Johnny Sisk seconded the motion.
The board voted 3-1 to approve the increase. Alderman Mark Payne was absent.
