- Most interesting thing we recently learned: Storybook trails – they’re a thing. These family friendly trails place pages from childrens’ books along a path, helping engage kids during their outdoor exercise. Tennessee boasts 18 of these trails, including locations at 15 state parks, two city parks and one botanical garden – with new ones popping up all the time.
