Chattanooga police need information regarding a string of burglaries in local schools last month.
On April 7 and 8, a Saturday and Sunday, about six people entered Boyd-Buchanan school buildings at 4650 Buccaneer Trail, police said.
The burglars entered the elementary school that Saturday afternoon and took a Mac Book computer and ate some of the ice cream in the cafeteria, police said. They returned later and entered the high school, taking two Mac Book computers, a digital camera and some cash, police said.
The next day, three people entered all three school buildings, this time throwing objects through office windows.
No information was available on possible suspects, but surveillance footage shows six people wandering the halls with their faces almost completely covered.
Those with information are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 423-698-3333. A cash reward of $1,000 is available.
