Roads have been reopened in Chattanooga after a weekend demolition of the Shepherd Road bridge over Highway 153.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation shared a time-lapse video of the event shot by Cliff Dye of Jones Brothers Contractors, the contractor for the bridge replacement project.
As part of phase two of the project, traffic will use a one-lane signal controlled bridge on Shepherd Road through February, after which it will return to two lanes, according to a news release.
