Good morning, Chattanooga!
Some of Chattanooga’s biggest employers are uniting in an effort to raise the local COVID-19 vaccination rate to 60 percent before the end of the year.
“We must get to a higher vaccination level, and we’re really excited about what we can do in this community to achieve that,” said Mary Lambert, the newly appointed director of community health for the city of Chattanooga.
On Tuesday, 26 area organizations pledged to work together to encourage vaccination to help reverse the current infection trends in the community.
