Dalton police believe that five robberies from November were carried out by the same person.
Time, physical description, clothing and a weapon have all been similar in each robbery, Dalton police spokesman Bruce Frazier said in a news release.
The latest robbery occurred at Carniceria Loa on Fernwood Avenue on Nov. 27, Frazier said.
Each incident has occurred between 7 and 10 p.m.; the suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 5 foot 5 and 5 foot 10 with slim build, Frazier said. The suspect has worn white, black or blue hooded sweatshirts and a white mask or bandanna to cover his face, and he has used a chrome or stainless-steel semiautomatic hand gun, Frazier said.
The other four businesses robbed include Taqueria Villa Juarez on Murray Avenue, El Mercadito on East Long Street, Tacos Tu Go on North Hamilton Street and Panaderia Chihuahua on Fields Avenue, Frazier said.
In the latest robbery, the suspect was seen in a small white two-door car with a rear spoiler and chrome or stainless-steel wheels, Frazier said. At least one additional suspect was seen in this incident.
Anyone with information about these robberies is asked to call the Dalton Police Department at 706-278-9085.
