Several lineup changes are in store for anchors employed at WRCB, according to a release from the local television news station.
Current weekend anchor Amy Morrow will begin co-anchoring the 11 p.m. news with Greg Glover later this summer, the news release said.
The move allows current 11 p.m. anchor Cindy Sexton to focus on “an expanded role” at Channel 3, including a new daytime show this fall, officials said.
“Keeping the Tennessee Valley informed at the end of their day is a privilege,” Ms. Morrow said. “I look forward to carrying the excellence built by Cindy, Greg and our entire 11 o’clock staff.”
Ms. Sexton will remain the co-anchor of “Live at 5:00” as well as Eyewitness News broadcasts at 5:30 and 6:00.
“I will miss delivering the news to our 11 p.m. viewers, but an upcoming new daytime show will give me even more time to deliver news and information to our loyal viewers,” Ms. Sexton said.
More information on the new daytime show will be released at a later date, officials said.
