Services: Chiropractic care, spinal and postural screenings, corrective exercises, nutritional counseling and lifestyle advice.

Owner: Dr. Don Duff has been practicing in Collegedale for 26 years. He fell in love with the community while working toward his nursing degree at Southern Adventist University. “He wanted to live in this community, to serve this community,” said his daughter and receptionist, Landon.

Year opened: 1990. “This is the longest-standing chiropractic office in the Ooltewah-Collegedale area,” said Dr. Greg Schrader, who recently joined the office.

New addition: Schrader, who has been practicing for 16 years. He is passionate about learning new health care techniques and constantly working to update his knowledge of the field. “He’s really into upping his game; making sure he’s on top of everything,” Landon said.

Educational offerings: In addition to providing care, Duff and Schrader teach community members how to get well and stay well. That could mean explaining the wellness process to patients during visits. Or, it could mean giving presentations on the proper way to carry a backpacks or lift weights to students at SAU, University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and local high schools.
