Tonight, April 21, the musicians of the Arkansas-based “family” band The Cleverlys will bring their unlikely, bluegrass-inflected covers of cross-genre radio hits to the stage at Revelry Room, 41 E. 14th St.

The band was founded by native Chicago musician/comedian Phil Harris (aka Digger Cleverly).

He’s joined by Irl Hees (Miles Cleverly), Steve Bush (Vernon “VD” Dean), Mark Pearman (Otto Cleverly) and Steve Wilkerson (Harvey Cleverly).

Their novel bluegrass covers of pop and hip-hop songs include Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” and Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire.”

The show starts at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Cover is $15.
