Head coach: Wayne Turner (219-116 in 27 years here; 223-132 overall)

Returning starters: 7 offensive; 7 defensive

Key players: WR-S Jeremiah Batiste (6-1, 180); QB-LB Martavious Ryals (6-2, 205); ATH Ronald Neal (5-11, 175); FB-LB Kamden Edwards (5-10, 210); RB-OLB Jeremiah Sawyer (6-0, 195); OG-DT Keshawn Brown (5-10, 245); OT-DT Jailin Worthy (6-2, 270); OT-DE Deviante Felder (6-3, 230); WR-CB Keyonis Trammel (5-9, 165); C-DE Ricardo Cancino (6-2, 170); OG-DE Jamarcus Hubbard (5-11, 185); FB-LB Anthony Bell (6-1, 220).

Team strengths: There is an impressive amount of talent among the skill-position players on both sides of the ball. The Rams will have no shortage of playmakers.

Team concerns: With only two linemen – Brown and Worthy – returning with starting experience, there are some holes to fill up front. The Rams likely will rely on Felder, a senior who’s fully healthy now, and a couple of freshmen to fill those roles.
